Coursolve acts as an online agent creating partnerships between students and organizations with shared interests. It generates opportunities for students to work on real world problems with organizations around the globe through the forming of online internships or partnerships. Organizations gain access to additional talent that can assist with projects that require data analysis, the development of business strategies, social media assistance and numerous other projects. Students are in a position to gain valuable work experience benefit from the learning opportunity. For example, if a project has a task that a student could complete remotely, it could be posted here. Student talent and ingenuity are of significant value, and at times will generate new methods and ideas to the benefit of the hosting organization.
Due to Coursolve design, large and small organizations alike are on an equal footing when attracting student participants. This requires organizations to present themselves on Coursolve in an inviting manner, however BRAC’s reputation as one of the world’s best and largest NGO’s will surely attract interest.
Coursolve is currently still in beta, and therefore participation from students and organizations alike is limited. However as Coursolve moves towards completion, popularity will continue to increase. In the future Coursolve may become a valuable resource for NGO community and students.
