THE INNOVATION MINDSET CHALLENGE

crowd sourcing inspiring stories to promote innovative thinking

THE GOAL

Stories inspire and teach. Think about the work that you do to improve lives and the innovative ways that you identify and address needs, tensions, and possibility in your community. Inspire others by sharing a story that highlights a problem, a solution, or an opportunity involved in your work.

HOW TO TELL YOUR STORY
To enter the Innovation Mindset Challenge, tell a story about the people, places or projects that help you understand and rethink the problems and solutions in your organization and community. Your story may tell about a success or a challenge as long as it demonstrates how you used an innovative mindset as described in the Project Innovation toolkit.

Your story should include the following parts:

  • a description of your organization’s work and overall goals
  • details about the community your organization serves
  • background information about what led you to think deeply about the way things worked and how to rework them
  • a summary of what happened when you used an innovation mindset within the organization or community served

PRIZES
All entries that demonstrate use of an innovation mindset will appear on the Project Innovation blog.

2 Semi-Finalists will receive a cash prize of $1,500 USD. Your story and organization will be highlighted as part of the Project Innovation website.
1 Grand Prize Winner will receive a cash prize of $2,500 USD. Your story and organization will also be profiled in a professionally-made short film that will appear on the Project Innovation website and featured in global workshops to generate visibility and recognition for your important work.
