Richard A. Cash, MD, MPH is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. He and colleagues conducted the first clinical trials of Oral Rehydration Therapy (ORT) in adult and pediatric patients at the Cholera Research Laboratory in Dhaka. He continues to work on infectious diseases issues n LMIC and contributes to the field of research ethics. Lastly he has worked to develop the education capacity in public health schools in LMIC including JPGSPH.
