ATM Mahbub Alam is a highly experienced corporate professional currently leading the Payroll Business at bKash, the leading mobile financial service provider in Bangladesh as an Executive Vice President and Head of Payroll Business, in Commercial Division. He is serving bKash for almost from the starting of this MFS industry. Prior to joining bKash he worked at Grameenphone which is the largest telecommunication company in Bangladesh.

He is the pioneer & Key role player of RMG and Corporate workers’ wage digitization transformation story in Bangladesh, alongside building an ecosystem that includes payment collection and disbursement for all business segment (RMG, Corporate, NBFI and NGO). Throughout his career, he worked to empower people of Bangladesh by introducing and implementing digital payment service. His initiatives to introduce payroll by digital payment method have empowered the mass workforce of Bangladesh by acquainting them with financial literacy. During the pandemic, he was in the forefront of bKash payroll digitization when our govt. introduced the stimulus fund disbursement project.

His vision and initiatives have brought bKash to a position where it is now providing digital payroll solution to some of the big names in corporate and manufacturing industry in Bangladesh which is empowering people from all walks of life come under financial inclusion.
