As a program lead in our Nairobi Studio, Celestine works closely with both the design and partnership teams to bring projects focused on digital financial services to life while ensuring partners’ needs and project objectives are met.

Prior to joining IDEO.org, Celeste was a senior project manager at Arifu, a digital content and interactive learning platform, where she managed both local and international projects within the financial, agricultural, humanitarian, and education sectors. Celeste has an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies and Community Development from Kenyatta University, Kenya as well as being PMP certified from the Project Management Institute.

In her free time, Celeste spends her days with her daughter as well as oscillating between looking for the next adventure with her friends or catching up on the latest shows with a particular penchant for period dramas.
