Ms. Shahanaj Pervin, joined in Bangladesh Bank as an Assistant Director in 2011. During her 10 years of career in the Central Bank, she has contributed in policy formulation on Financial Inclusion especially for women, marginalized and underprivileged people of the country. She has significant contribution in Financial Literacy and Financial Education. During her responsibilities she has gained extensive knowledge on policy interventions on financial inclusion through participating in a number of trainings and peer learning sessions. She also participated as distinguished speaker in several programmes arranged in home and abroad. She is a Certified Expert in Financial Inclusion (CEFI) by Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, Germany. She has obtained Certified Digital Finance Practitioner (CDFP) degree from the online course program provided by Digital Frontiers Institute (DFI), Fletcher School and Tufts University, USA jointly.
In her academic background, she has obtained her graduate and post graduate degree in Economics from the leading Dhaka University. She also obtained her second post graduate degree in Policy Economics from Williams College, USA with full-funded scholarship.
