Saqif is at present working as the program manager for South Asian markets in Trust in Safety of TikTok, working to use data and risk management expertise to keep the platform safe. Besides that, he is an adviser to Intelligent Machines Limited, one of the prominent Machine Learning startups in Bangladesh, and Upskill, a skill development platform. He is also free lance consultant and trainer in topics related to data strategy, analytics, machine learning and startup scaling up. He completed his Masters in Strategy and Policy from National University of Singapore, and before that he completed his Masters in Operations and Risk Management from University of Manchester. Previously, he used to be a senior lecturer in North South University, Bangladesh, where he taught Risk Management and Applied Statistics and also helped develop the data Decision Sciences curriculum. He has also introduced Business Analytics course for undergraduates in IBA, Dhaka University.
