How can I get involved?

This year you can get involved with FIF in several ways. You can register yourself and your team. You can nominate speakers for the event. You can write about the exciting work your organisation is doing for our blog. You can also pitch your innovation in the separate pitching sessions during the forum. There will be an Innovation Exhibition where you can showcase your organisations activities and impact. Let us know if you want to request a booth allotment at frugalinnovaiton@brac.net.

How can I register to attend the Frugal Innovation Forum?

If you are interested in attending the forum, please register by filling out this form. The Social Innovation Lab will review your request and inform you if you have been selected. After this, you will have to confirm your participation and pay the participation fee.

How much is the participation fee?

The registration fee of the conference is highly subsidised.

Registration fee:

300 USD for international participants.
6,000 BDT for participants living in Bangladesh.

What is included in the participation fee?

The participation fee includes:

Entry to all Frugal Innovation Forum sessions

Accommodations for two nights (9th-11th)

All meals and refreshments during the forum (beginning with the welcome dinner on the 9th through lunch on the 11th)

Complimentary transportation to and from the airport for international participants

Are there waivers available?

For group of 3, the registration fee will be USD 750 for international participants and BDT 15000 for local participants.

How do I pay?

Once your registration has been accepted, we will email you with the details for payment.

What currencies do you accept?

We accept Bangladesh taka and United States dollars.

Do I need a visa to enter Bangladesh?

Please check the visa requirements for your country of citizenship. If you require an invitation letter, please send us the following information as soon as possible to frugalinnovation@brac.net:

  1. Name as it appears on your passport
  2. Date of Birth
  3. Passport number and country
  4. Expiration date
  5. Organization name and address
